The last year has been challenging to say the least… but things seem to be improving! As people look to start traveling again and remote work becomes more normalized, you may be considering moving someplace new. Here are a few of our favorite cities to enjoy some natural beauty that typically fly under the radar:
Scottsdale, AZ
With mountains to the East, national forest to the North, a large river to the South, and sitting in a gorgeous desert backdrop, Scottsdale is a natural wonderland. Don’t worry, it’s not THAT remote… Phoenix is close by and Old Town is a hot spot of restaurants, shopping and nightlife. From Scottsdale to Phoenix, you can find yourself hiking on the weekends (Devil’s Bridge or Cathedral Rock Trail) or treating yourself to a spa day at the Camelback Inn. The options are endless in Arizona!
Charleston, SC
“Southern charm” is top of mind when thinking about Charleston. It has everything from beaches &
waterfront property, to historical districts and cobblestone streets. But don’t be fooled: Charleston is South Carolina’s largest city and has endless business opportunities to make it a permanent home to enjoy and grow roots.
Stowe, VT
A little more “low key” than Scottsdale or Charleston, Stowe is dubbed the “Ski Capital of the East” and is full of natural treasures and beauties. Besides skiing, popular activities include meandering on the Stowe Recreation Path with incredible mountain views, hiking & rock climbing in an old smuggling route into Canada (Smugglers Notch State Park).
There is never a bad time to reset & start somewhere fresh, and what better way than in places with fresh and natural air. It’s never too late to start over!
